The protected reaStripe 10 protected temperature indicators, from the Swiss manufacturer Reatec AG, are based on a self-adhesive paper strip protected by a high-quality Kapton film (from temperature range 166°C - 264°C). On this strip 10 temperature indicators are attached.

This indicator is characterized by its water and oil repellent properties, its strength, its very good thermal conductivity and its flexibility. To achieve a fast and accurate response time even in difficult environmental conditions, the measuring points are covered.

Temperature measuring strips in use:
The temperature measuring strips are supplied as individual indicator strips. One package of 10 is equivalent to 10 individual indicator strips. They can be easily attached to the object whose temperature is to be measured. Thanks to the plastic carrier, they are suitable for uneven and round objects.

On the temperature measuring strips there is a scale with individual covered measuring points. As soon as a certain temperature is exceeded, the temperature measuring points change color from white(gray) to black within 1 to 2 seconds.

The color change is irreversible. After the temperature has been exceeded, the temperature measuring points do not change back to their original color but remain black, even if the temperature drops again. Critical temperatures are thus indicated even after a longer period of time, e.g. during storage and transport.
